4 December 2010.

Distance: 6.7 km .

Max.: 1364 m.

Height min.: 13200 m. Vertical

Cumulative ascent: 250 m.

Time: 1:40 very quietly.

Difficulty: very easy, it's a great ride.

Type: semicircular PRHU-123

Hikers: José Carlos.

Taking advantage of the bridge a few days spent in the Turbón Vilas Spa ( here is the link with all the information) in the region of Ribagorza, a while I decided to walk on the beautiful white mantle covering the area, typically up to Turbón (2492 m.) but tell me about mountaineers who are staying at the resort, which yesterday rose and a lot of snow, in summer they did in 6 hours and hours stuck this time n opening track shoe came or anywhere near me quite curious as they are back up, Peronism have bats and discard the idea for some other time.

the morning is great, low temperature, but sunshine in the direction S from the spa, is the hermitage of San Antonio, which serves as a lookout and reading artels c of marked trails that are in the door of the spa, I decide to go there by PRHU-123. The route starts descending and climbing the ravine Torcida, leaving us in the c handles and church opposite the spa town since it is divided into two parts, hence must be followed by a few meters road to find the road to the hermitage of San Antonio, PR marks are not visible through the snow, but poles make the path is lost.

After a gentle climb along a highway snow white, came to the hermitage, views are great, but the information signs are with a foot of snow and there is no way know exactly what I'm seeing. Always on our right we have the imposing massif of Turbón it more spectacular route.

Some pictures in the chapel and descend about 10 m from where I come to take a path on the right, which is the sign of X PR, I get off the path to descend directly Bralláns village, the are home closely, and although the road is just a few meters, can be downloaded easily to the village Bralláns, yes cross country, this time rather through snow.

Bralláns is a village of l Pyrenees from that record, since 1004, this time the church and two houses belong to the municipality of Torre la Ribera. A smoke house through the chimney and in the village there are several information boards, glad the truth is that there are people living or keeping these small and unknown corners. The road ends in the village and she have to go to return, but the first km we will do a nice path parallel to the road that will lead us to the source Molladal, old watering hole, recently restored.

Since the source will continue along the road to the resort . A nice walk around a site designed to relax, and the whole environment will lead to that. I am disappointed Turbón getting into, but maybe next time, now I expect a massage and a session of aquatherapy ..., not everything will be walking.

Until next time ...
