solve the Rubik's Cube 3 × 3 × 3
is the world record for Rubik's Cube 3 × 3 × 3 that the Frenchman Thibaut Jaquinot stood at no more and no less than 9.86 seconds, the first time sub-10 or below ten seconds worldwide in official competition (the former was 10.08 seconds). The official results are available on the website of the World Cube Association. (Unfortunately due to some problems with the recording seems to be that there is no full video of the new world record.)
This world record was beaten in the First English Open Rubik's Cube which was held on 5 May in Murcia and also included the classic cube various modalities. Chambom Edouard was the champion of the competition in the form of 3 × 3 × 3 (where the average times of several blocks). David Calvo of Spain was third, beating the record of Spain with 14.11 [YouTube, 30 sec.] In the mode of the cube 2 × 2 × 2 also won Jaquinot. Paris
Javier Ernesto Fernandez finished second and third. Jaquinot also won the 4 × 4 × 4 and Carlos Angosla hub mode "blind" (blindfolded) solving it in 4 minutes 35 seconds.

The Rubik Cube Championship Europeras this year will take place in the city of Derio, Spain. It will be from 19 to 21 September and is open to competitors from any country and age.
Any of them can win prizes, but each event, only the best ones are from Europe and Israel will compete for the European Championship medals.
